Entre março e maio de 2019, o Bate-papo com Netuno e a Universidade Federal do Sul da Bahia promoveram uma oficina no Centro Integrado de Educação de Porto Seguro (CIEPS). Três cientistas do mar (Silvio Sasaki, Juliana Quadros e Andresa Oliva) foram conversar com estudantes do ensino médio sobre suas histórias de vida, sobre como descobriram que queriam ser cientistas e as aventuras e percalços ao longo de suas carreiras.
